Starvoxel: Defender ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, and disclosed by Starvoxel: Defender.

Data We Collect

We process the data needed to provide accounts, progression, purchases, multiplayer, safety, and optional analytics:

Local Data (stored on your device only)

• 01 Device Settings: Audio, language, analytics consent, and cached game state
• 02 Notification Schedule: Optional daily-reward reminders configured on the device

Account and Game-Service Data

• Account and Identity: Firebase account identifier, linked Game Center or Play Games identifier, player name, avatar, title, and name colour
• Progression: Levels, cards, upgrades, currency, rewards, battle-pass progress, achievements, ranks, and run results
• Online Play: Matchmaking status, friends and invitations, connection data, match commands, and server-validated results
• Purchases: Product, store, transaction, and receipt or purchase-token data needed to verify purchases. We do not receive payment-card details.

Analytics Data (with your consent)

If you consent, Google Firebase Analytics processes gameplay, session, progression, and device information. On Android, Meta App Events and TikTok App Events also process app activity and device or advertising identifiers to measure advertising installs and performance.

On starvoxel.com, Google Analytics is loaded only after you accept analytics. It measures page views and clicks to stores, community, and social profiles. Advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalisation, and Google signals are disabled.

• Gameplay Events: Wave completions, boss defeats, weapon purchases, game starts/ends
• Session Data: Play duration, wave reached, score achieved
• Progression: Difficulty, waves, unlocks, rewards, and feature usage
• Device Info: Device model, operating system, app version, approximate region, and identifiers made available by the platform

Analytics Consent

On first launch, you will be asked whether you consent to optional analytics and, on Android, advertising measurement. This is entirely optional.

• Accept Firebase Analytics is enabled; on Android, Meta App Events and TikTok App Events are also enabled for install attribution
• Decline No optional analytics or advertising-attribution data is collected or sent

You can withdraw or restore consent at any time from the Analytics toggle on the in-game Profile screen. Withdrawal stops future optional collection.

Third-Party Services

We use these service providers:

• Google Firebase: Authentication, analytics, matchmaking metadata, and backend-owned progression storage. Google privacy information
• Meta App Events (Android, with consent): Advertising install attribution and performance measurement. Meta Privacy Policy
• TikTok App Events (Android, with consent): Advertising install attribution, app-launch, and day-two retention measurement. TikTok Privacy Policy
• Apple and Google: Platform identity, achievements, leaderboards, store distribution, and purchase processing.

Data Retention

• Local Data: Stored until you uninstall the app, clear its data, or change the relevant setting
• Account and Progression Data: Kept while needed to provide the game and protect legitimate progression, then deleted or anonymised when no longer needed or following a valid deletion request
• Analytics and Attribution Data: Retained according to our configured provider settings and the applicable Firebase, Meta, and TikTok retention policies

Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Union, you have the following rights:

• Right to Access: Request information about data we hold
• Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data
• Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your data
• Right to Withdraw Consent: Disable analytics in Settings at any time
• Right to Object: Object to processing of your data

Starvoxel: Defender is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
